Who is PachaMama?
Pachamama (pronounced pah'cha-ma-ma), is the Peruvian Earth Goddess and protectress of all childbearing women. She is seen as the Universal Mother, and is still worshipped today for her many beautiful forms, for example the breathtaking Andes mountains are seen as her breasts and the flowing rivers as her milk. At PachaMama Midwifery every mama is a PachaMama!
